What to expect

HearMed Portlaoise is a full-time clinic at Unit 4, Bridge Street Centre, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, R32 PW2F. Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am to 5pm (closed 1pm to 2pm). Call 057 863 8181 for a free hearing test. No referral.

You can book a free hearing test, wax removal, tinnitus advice, or a hearing-aid fitting without a GP letter. Adults book themselves. HSE audiology for medical card holders usually needs a GP referral and a waitlist. Children under 12 go through HSE paediatric audiology.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Call 057 863 8181 to book.

Bridge Street Centre, Unit 4. Town-centre parking nearby. If you cannot get to the clinic, we do home visits. Give us a call on 0818 058 058 and we will see if we can travel to you.

PRSI Treatment Benefit is taken off at the till when you qualify. Bring your PPS number.

Many thanks to Travis for taking such wonderful care of my brother who has special needs. Travis your light hearted approach put James totally at ease and he was very relaxed as his ear wax was removed.
